# -in between- we weren't who we were nor who we will be just yet. we are -in between- # -in between- is a project depicts how younger chinese generation in big cities fascinated by "COSPLAY" (Costume Player) that originated from Japan. With these images I tried to explore the shape and facial expression ( or lack there of) of some of the costume players while they putting on their mask to become a character. In hindsight, as a young adult, they keep putting different masks, different character, getting to various tribes to get to know which kind of world they want to be in, until they found the perfect mask for them, and wear it for good.
